A studio, not an agency, and definitely not a template shop.
Wowza was founded in 2024 to do one thing properly: design, build and host websites for businesses that deserve to be taken seriously online.
Plenty of South African businesses are running a site that was bought as a template, filled in by someone’s cousin, and never touched again. It loads slowly, it looks like four other businesses down the road, and nobody knows the password to change the trading hours. That is the problem we started to solve.
We work across shopping centres, travel retail, wholesale fashion and B2B product brands. Every site is designed from scratch for the business it belongs to, and every one is still ours to look after — so when something needs fixing, there is nobody to hand the blame to and nobody to wait on.
We are based at 137 North Rand Rd in Boksburg, on the East Rand of Johannesburg. We work with clients across South Africa, but we are genuinely local — one of the shopping centres we built sits on the same road as our front door.
